Our Story
Crafted by generations, made for generations.

Welcome
At TulgatYurts, we carry forward a proud legacy of Mongolian craftsmanship through our family workshop — where tradition meets innovation. For three generations, our family has been handcrafting authentic Mongolian yurts (Gers), and today, the fourth generation is preparing to continue this deeply rooted art.
Though we remain a small family workshop, we’ve evolved into a more modern and innovative studio, blending traditional artistry with new techniques. Much like the Japanese philosophy of inherited craftsmanship, every generation adds new skills while safeguarding the integrity of the old. Each member of our family takes part — from designing and carving to sewing and assembling — ensuring that every yurt carries a touch of our family’s spirit and devotion.
Our Craftsmanship
Every yurt we create is a testament to heritage, skill, and balance. Using carefully selected materials — from sustainably sourced wood to natural felt and leather — we maintain the authenticity that defines Mongolian design.
Our team combines handcrafted precision with thoughtful improvements inspired by modern ergonomics and design, giving each yurt both beauty and durability. Whether it’s the central crown’s perfect alignment or the delicate hand-painted motifs, we believe that craftsmanship is not only about construction — it’s about respecting the culture and soul behind every curve and color.
Our Commitment
We are proud to be among Mongolia’s most respected yurt manufacturers, recognized for our innovation, authenticity, and reliability. For over 20 years, we’ve been selling directly from our workshop to customers worldwide, ensuring fair prices without middleman fees.
Our commitment goes beyond products — it’s to the heritage we preserve and the trust we build. Each yurt is a reflection of our promise: to deliver not only a shelter but a symbol of Mongolian identity, harmony, and timeless living.
Why Choose TulgatYurts

Though our workshop has grown, it remains a true family craft. Led by our father, mother, eldest son, and daughter, each yurt is shaped with care and tradition.
